End of Sub-Identities

It is no longer applicable for a human being to take refuge behind any sub-identity except the humanity to justify any form of experiment, knowledge, progress and prosperity. The massive cross cutting movement of human beings in this century, is indicative of growing destruction and elimination of restrictive sub-identities and the revitalization of humanity as a main identity.

This trend, in generality is approved by majority of the humanity, however, the threats arising from such a trend to the position, power and wealth basis of some human societies, will create substantial challenges to be dealt with. Since some of the sub-identities are embedded with our blood, culture and lifestyle for so long,  it will not be easy to get rid of them.

Hence, the first step would be the increasing emphasize of the humanity as a main identity and end of importance of the sub-identities. While, these sub-identities may not be totally eliminated, their relative importance will be reduced to a significant level, which would pave the establishment of the humanity as an only and main identity.

Selfless Work Is All That Matters

There are things we can achieve in our lifetimes and there are things we can not. However, the strength of our belief and consistency of our actions, during our lifetimes, in achieving the things we may not be able to achieve in our lifetimes, are necessary for those things to be achieved in the future!

Humanity has not and could have never survived and prospered by pursuing the achievable things in our lifetimes, rather the work and hope for the unachievable to be achieved in the future are what have awarded the humanity with the progress and prosperity that we enjoy today.

Hence, the real test of our humanity is the work we put in achieving the things we may not or will not witness their achievement, beside the work we put in achieving the achievable. If every single human being believed in this line of thinking and contributed as such towards betterment of humanity, we will be able to deliver a better world for our future generations, than our predecessors delivered to us.

Our lifetimes are too short for us to totally indulge in affairs directly affecting our lives. Our short lifetimes could be well-utilized and could be very valuable, when we indulge in affairs affecting the rest of us and the ones who will come after us. They might appreciate what we have done or they may not, but the peaceful conscience that we will have by indulging in those affairs will be the proof of our good work during our lifetimes!

Addressing Our Jealousy

Jealousy is one of the several sources of negative energy constantly flowing and persistently present in our daily human interactions. Like many other sources of negative energy in human life, its basic job is to pull us away from our moralistic and pure human side to our immoral and evil side.

Human beings have the capacity to contain and reduce their jealousy through a constant and realistic evaluation of oneself without putting themselves in comparison with other human beings whom they interact.

Hence, the ultimate step to free ourselves of jealousy would be by establishing an absolute belief on the uniqueness of one’s self and by continuous discovery of one’s weaknesses and strengths through constant evaluations. Once this is achieved, we may no longer feel over powered by jealousy in any of our human interactions; rather we will be more focused on increasing our own strengths and decreasing our weaknesses.

This will be a path leading to a permanent consolidation of our moralistic side plus enjoying a better life as human beings by utilizing our maximum potentials.

War Is Over

There was a time that the word war meant a lot in terms of a tool to advance one's ideals of humanity, God, and worldly affairs. It is with great efforts that today war has lost its prestige and honor among the best of the best.

As a result, it is very important to realize that one must reconsider the cost and benefit analysis of war to advance one's ideals of humanity, God and worldly affairs. While we might be witnessing from time to time the utilization of war by the egoistic societies, the war as we knew it, is over. However, this does not mean that battles won't be there any more. The next set of battles are of intelligence, knowledge, wisdom and leadership.

Societies with sophisticated intelligence, knowledge, wisdom and leadership are going to ferociously advance their ideals of humanity, God and worldly affairs, which is not a bad idea as long as the circumstances are fair  in terms of dialogue and debate from all sides.

Hence, it is very important for societies to accept the reality of the end of war and begin nation wide and region wide armament of intelligence, knowledge, wisdom and leadership to be able to advance their ideals of humanity, God and worldly affairs, which will definitely help the whole world in a very substantial manner in the long term.

Ultimate Peace on Earth

The idea of humanity attaining an ultimate peace on earth is considered an idealistic goal that may only be attained when the world is about to end. However, there is a broader consensus among the scholars on the feasibility and sustenance of an ultimate peace on earth. This consensus is considered to be the basis of the agendas to move humanity to unite around the world.

This century is considered by many scholars to be a turning point to this idealistic goal. International peace and security initiatives by the existing and emerging global leaders in this century will eventually re-establish and consolidate the notion of an ultimate peace on earth among the humanity.

The only source of concern still remains to be the disagreements on "means" for that end. The only solution for resolving the disagreements in this century would be to adopt a multi-national and multi-ideological initiatives, that would satisfy the existing and emerging contestants for championing the causes of humanity.

While the selfishness of these contestants may lead to skirmishes at different stages of implementation of the multi-national and multi-ideological initiatives, the maximum care and attention must be to reduce such skirmishes by reducing the importance of nations and ideologies in this century.

The reduction of importance of nations and ideologies can only be achieved by maximum emphasize and commitment to a higher institution, eg. World Government and a higher ideology, eg. Humanism. This emphasize and commitment to a higher institution and ideology will be a major step towards uniting the humanity. Hence, humanity will be much closer in attaining an ultimate peace on earth!!

Values in Human Societies

Values are the primary sources of rules and regulations, generally known as laws in human societies. There is no doubt that values are unifying forces in human societies, which also stimulate stability and prosperity.

While there are certain universal values, the majority of the values are endogenous to particular human societies and it is after their appealing nature is known and popularized that they move towards universality.

However, it is very important to realize that certain values are being appreciated differently by different human societies, prior or after they become universal values. The interesting fact with respect to values is that it is only appreciated by those who have it, rather than by those who do not. Hence, the scarcity of a value among certain human societies does not make them appreciate those values rather they become antagonistic towards them, which is a sad reality.

As a result, the only way to change the antagonism to favoritism is to popularize those values in away that is appealing to those human societies, rather than forcing them to adopt values whether universal or non-universal!!

Homogenization of the Humanity

Homogenization has been one of the Ideal Goals of Humanity. Homogenized human societies are believed to be beyond the struggles of consolidating unity. While, human societies are not always homogeneous, diversities in human societies have been the primary sources of disunity and conflict in the human societies.

The negative consequences of diversities could even lead to major disasters, and ultimately disintegration and extinction of certain human societies. However, the survival and prosperity of diverse human societies could only be achieved when the leadership and institutions in such human societies truly represent those diversities.

Representation is the only means of attaining unity in a diverse human society. As a result, while representatives may strive for homogenization which is an Ideal Goal, this must be pursued through institutions rather than the leadership (individuals).

This is because individuals always bring their personal biases into any human project. As a result, the legacy of good leadership in a diverse human society can only be judged by the strength of their commitments for institutionalization of diversities in a manner that should lead to unity and prosperity of such a human society!

Hence, the Ideal Goal must not be allowed to be compromised by the leadership, rather it must be institutionalized, in the short term for the unity and stability and in the long term for the prosperity of the human societies!!

Our Happiness in Life

Happiness is the primary measurement of one's hard work and success in a given time. This is also a clear indicator of the rightness of one's path in life.

However, this measurement cannot give the same result as one's life progresses. This means that as one's life progresses the happiness must increase. There could be stagnation to this Increase at certain circumstances but it should not be stopped for a long time or forced to reduction.

As long as the Increase is continuous, then one should be confident of the rightness of their path. This confidence is required in order for a person to Increase the speed of their hard work to be more successful and happier as a result!!

Our Goals in Life

The primacy of our goals will never go away from the realities of our future. The only things that change are our knowledge and abilities as human beings which either increases or decreases, as a result, those goals go high or come down.

This process will naturally make the realities of our future unpredictable, but the issue is that we worry so much about the unpredictability and our satisfactions at the present that we sometimes lose our sight on increasing our abilities which will assure our higher goals and a somehow predictable future!!

Our Humanistic Ingredients

Human beings are no different than any other creation except for their morality (faith), senses, logic, intelligence and emotions. However, these humanistic ingredients are not "Given". The raw material for their developments are present, and it is up-to an individual to realize them, distinguish them, polish them and advance them.

The only means for their advancement could be an increasingly diverse human interactions, connections as well as relationships, which would influence and shape an individual’s personalities and role in a human society. This is to highlight the role of the schools, universities, religious institutions, political institutions as well as the civil society which are providing the necessary platforms for diverse human interactions, connections and relationships.

Schools and universities are the primary institutions for a collective advancement on all of the above ingredients, but there too, the directions are provided and it is up-to an individual to utilize those directives by innovating the most suitable pattern to their interests and advance their humanity!!

Utility of Life

Life is not just a tool to achieve certain goals or dreams, but a broader phenomenon that encompasses all the goals and dreams. However, it is a primary tool for enhancing our human interactions (going beyond family, tribe, village, city, country and continent) which would bound to help us realize our humane goals and dreams!!
