Extremism: An Anti-Human Platform

When we hear about extremism or extremists, what comes to our mind is an ideology or a human being with an ideology that is not tolerant of an opposing ideology. 

It is very natural for ideologies to present themselves as the “absolute truth”. However, each ideology has several underlying assumptions, which can not be validated in a commonly acceptable fashion. Hence, we realize that even though an ideology may present itself, or being presented by its advocates or being regarded by people as the “absolute truth”, it may not actually be the “absolute truth”. Moreover, every ideology by itself has some level of tolerance for opposing ideologies. 

However, there are always certain advocates of an ideology who will be leaning over to the extreme side of an ideology, which may lead them to have zero tolerance for an opposing ideology. This phenomenon is to be analyzed in order to understand the disastrous consequences of the extremism on human lives. 

It is widely believed that extremism is an anti-human platform utilized by some of the weak advocates of an ideology in order to avoid the difficult questions, from the opposing ideologues and explorers. As a result, since there is lack of knowledge to answer those difficult questions which maybe targeting the underlying assumptions of the ideology and undermine the “absolute truth” image of the ideology, extremism is one of the attractive platforms for them to comfortably condemn the opposing ideologues and explorers. 

Going by the law of nature, that every action has a reaction, then there is no doubt that extremism breeds extremism, which is a prime factor to undermine the essence of humanity to explore and advance. 

Moreover, extremism is also a major obstacle for human interaction which is a highly needed phenomenon for humanity to live in a peaceful environment. Hence, extremism will ultimately lead to a dysfunctional and backward human society filled with hatred, violence and war. A human society with such characteristics is doomed to elimination from the face of the earth. 

Hence, our primary human duty is to get further away as much as we can from extremism and move towards moderation in our beliefs and actions as an individual, group, organization and a country in order to eliminate the conditions for misery and allow humanity to advance towards its ultimate purpose of heaven on earth!

Inequality a Threat to Humanity

Humanization is still one of the primary necessities in certain societies.

On one hand, inequality and discrimination based on natural identities such as gender, nationality, language, color..etc among individuals living in such societies is a very dominant phenomenon, which is a major obstacle in the path towards humanization. On the other hand, any code of conduct which violates any of the humanistic and moral principles in a society could have grave consequences by providing a platform for anti-humanization forces to continuously block further humanization efforts in such societies.

Hence, it is strongly advised for the truly humanized institutions and leaders in such societies to enhance their efforts by utilizing the civil means available to them in uniting their forces, and then stand to promote and consolidate further humanization efforts. Moreover, the first step to ensure success of further humanization efforts would be to abolish the inequality and discrimination based on natural identities in their respective societies.

Realities of Humanity

Realities are human creations through their actions based on an idea and consequences of their actions. However, when an idea is questionable, then the actions could be flawed and the reality loses its credibility.

Human beings have the tendency to avoid questioning the idea based up on which they have created their reality with the fear of unknown or losing their self-image. This fear could be so challenging that could lead the human beings in a particular society live miserable lives for decades, centuries or even forever!

The truth is that human beings have the power to rewrite their destiny through questioning, analyzing, answering and changing their idea of living and existence. These changes could be so profound that an unattainable goal or objective in their previous reality could seem so easy and reachable during their lifetimes in their new reality!

Tolerance Is The Key

Tolerance is a very valuable commodity in any human society, that must be protected and enhanced by the institutions and leadership. It is one of the core positive energy that is abundantly available in every human being and human society, if protected and enhanced!

Tolerance is considered to be the backbone of the human civilizations. It is the initial step that sparks progress and prosperity.

Great human beings and institutions have always been advocating tolerance in a number of ways. However, tolerance is yet to be a consolidated and universal phenomenon among the humanity.

It is my belief that tolerance is a just means and end, which has the potential to fulfill one's higher goals in life and also to contribute to the peace and prosperity of the humanity!

Proactive Humanity

It is time for humanity to realize, identify, distinguish and isolate those individuals, leaderships and institutions which are an advocate of dividing lines among the humanity.

There should not be a justification or toleration for such a propaganda. We are no different from each other based on superficial identities, which we belong either individually, or as a group.

Humanity as a primary or the only true identity must supersede any other form of identity. This will greatly reduce and eventually eliminate the negative influence of individuals, leaderships and institutions which are benefiting from the dividing lines among the humanity.

I am very optimistic that humanism is already being understood, expanded and implemented by the moralistic individuals, leaderships, and institutions. I just hope that the scope of acceptance, education and implementation of humanism expands to an extent, when we can actually start delivering progress reports of our ultimate peace on earth to the doubters.

The Material vs The Spiritual

There are numerous indicators in our lives, which points to the constant dilemma and struggle between the material and spiritual aspects of our lives. It is really interesting to observe this dilemma on a daily basis to realize that its existence is a necessary means to balance our lives. 

It is very commonly visible that misery and sadness encompasses our lives when the balance between these two aspects are gone. Moreover, while we may be feeling low on one of the aspects in our lives, it is the presence of the other aspect which keeps us on the track to move forward in our lives.

Hence, the only way to keep this necessary balance in a permanent state in our lives is to constantly remind ourselves of our humanity and the moral duty to sustain ourselves in order to sustain the rest!
